That's called equity. It'll make that C8 purchase a lot easier.

Well, not every bit of it, no. ..but I think the renders + the C8 Mary is riding in, is about as close as we'll see until reveal. I'm really as excited as I was when C7 was being speculated on. It's awesome!

I never even think of buying a "normal" new model until the 5th production year, so for a C8 I suspect that would be... NEVER!

If the C8 looks better, and performs better I'll be all in. But both those criteria have to be met. Then after a year, or so, if the bugs have been fixed we'll go from there. But in all reality it will take more than trading mine in for only 40 more horsepower.

Nope, no Mid-Enigined Eurocar for me. The Corvette is an American Icon: - front engine- rear drive - V8

The newer generation Corvettes have evolved from a C1 Gasser. Time to catch up.

No interest if no Manual option. C7 will become a collector's edition, especially if you have a manual.

I'll be counting on that when I go to sell my GS for a C8.

I'll probably end up with a new C8 too. . It'll depend on how it's equipment gets offered and when. I'm not married to my new C7 as the majority are here.

I love my C7 but would consider buying a C8 except for the fact the front trunk may not be big enough to hold our luggage on our month long road trips.

That said, the mid-engine C8 looks awesome and may finally attract a large amount of younger buyers.

That’s because the C8 is a younger man’s sports car. I predict it is going to be a hit with younger buyers and that enthusiasm will safe the Corvette from extinction because the fact is it can no longer survive on the backs of baby boomers.

True but it will be a hit with ALL buyers. Good design will do that!

Don,t like short front ends and long backs on cars the view from the driver’s seat is like driving a bus. That plus no manual makes the C8 very unappealing to me—add in no vert and it adds up to major love for my C7 manual vert with the great view of the front hood from the driver’s seat!!

That a coup and convertible were being fueled up when a photo was taken they most looked identical but if you looked closer one was convertible. There is that any better for you folks who can’t add 2 plus 2.
