Although, I have loved each generation corvette since the very beginning, yes, even the C4.
The *C1* as a proto-type and later as mass produced fiberglass body, has had the most profound effect on the US automotive industry out of all the corvette, even the C7 ? Period!
Perhaps, GM can raise the bar once again, with the all new mid engine C8 design?

Because it's a poll asking for opinions? Come on Kevin, well made? Really? Now seriously, if you put an Art Morrison chassis under it, and some bigger wheels and tires, you have something. If you compare it to things of the period, it was a good car, but really a 10 year old Civic is a much better car...

By the time the poll came around I had changed my mind so I picked the C7 because, well, I have one of them and it is by far the Corvette I have liked best.

I love my C6...cheap interior? yes, outdated sound system? yes, uncomfortable seats? yes, raw performance out of my 427 vert? YES. I think that some of us have lost the idea of what a Corvette should be, raw performance
