Default Installed new Helix LED side markers

What do you guys think? They have no reflector but the LED is bright so no concerns when driving. They were $130 for the set of 4.

First glance they look nice... much nicer than the half *** OEM partial lit POS’s . Looking closer while they leave much better coverage in the lens with LED’s they are far less Brite than the Oracles, which are very bright (and you pay for it ).. I had mine “Ghosted in the same color as my paint,

....also the lens looks like the lens has spaced lines on it...definately different
curious what you paid ??
If you are happy ..that IA all that matters

LOL... this guy. I laugh every time some douche leaves a post on this forum followed by “if you are happy...”

They were $130 and they match the headlight assembly colors and materials pretty well. IMO it looks better then the Oracles since there is no other light on the exterior of the car that looks like the LEDs in those side markers. Aesthetically those side markers look out of place, but if you are happy then that’s all that matters.

Thats the best part. They were only $130 so if they do fail I’ll wait for the next aftermarket side markers to hit the market.

Does it have LEDs from one end to the other end?

Please post pics to see how bright they are.

Thanks

Another douche bag comment. Guys like you make owning a Corvette really annoying.

These were taken at night. The markers have one LED at the bottom that points up so they have the same look as the tail lights when they are on.

I ran the Oracles for about a year and liked them for a while but, more and more, I felt like they were a bit ricey looking because they stood out so much. Not knocking these as I ran them for a year and most of the time thought they were cool. I just got to the point where I thought they stood out too much compared to the rest of the lighting in a “Hey, look at me!” kind of way. I drive at night a lot due to my commute so they were on most of the time I drove the car.

Again, not disparaging - just relating my experience.

BMF82: The first sentence of your post was "What do you guys think?" How come anyone who answers is "some douche"?

They look good. Wish they retained the amber/red tints as I like the contrast on a white car.

Would be nice to see a compro side by side with Oracles. Has Oracles with a dark tint film on my C6GS and they definitely stood out... but matched up with the just as bright Oracle LED taillights.
