Full in. You will be grinding gears, should you not do so.

Sorry I read that I will be grinding gears if I push it all the way in. It makes complete sense

On a slightly different note I observed that the rpm falls pretty low in 1st gear while trying to move from standstill therefore resulting in giving more gas without the car stalling, in my BMW and Audi when you shift to 1st gear at standstill the car revs a bit and you dont need to give enough gas to move smoothly , dont we have this feature?

It also helps while pulling into garage by just using clutch and no need to touch gas pedal

RPM 'boost' while in first with clutch in...no. We do not. I guess it could be beneficial. Never really thought about something like that. I've gotten so used to mine.

And I hardly every hit the floor on ALL shifts, but I'm betting I'm pretty close tho.

Could be a v8 thing. It wants to get up and go therefore requiring more gas to get it going. Thats my take anyway. My type R DD I can just come off the clutch and get going in first gear. The vette, no way! Requires more throttle. Plus, hearing a little more loud rumble from the exhaust is nice when pulling in the garage.
