Default Lurched forward in Park

Started my car (19 GS A8) this past weekend and the car felt like it lurched forward a bit when pushing the start button...turned it off and started it again and the same thing just not as noticeable as the first time. Have driven a couple times since and no lurching. Has anyone ever had this happen?

Thank you in advance for your input.

That shouldn’t happen. Sounds like a trip to the dealer is appropriate.

When in Park, no auto should lurch anywhere.

UGH...yeah, hate to take it to the dealer. Was hoping it was something like the gears may not have been engaged properly or something (Not an engine /tranny person obviously) After reading about the shudder and other problems with the A8 thought it might be in relation to that. Will schedule a visit to my local dealer to see what they say...may wait and see if it does it again first. I'm sure they might just say what they always do when I spot a quirk in a car..."cannot replicate"

Thanks for all input.

If under warranty, use it. Make this right before it's on your dime, if for no other reason.
Complain of a periodic shudder...which for some odd reason I think is what actually happened, here.

Chevrolet's quite familiar w/ matter, they've dealt w/ it since A8 was introed.
GM will drain & fill trans w/ the latest greatest super-secret lube formulated to cure the A8 of all sins.
Might work on your A8, never know until it's tried.

Hope your dealer can diagnose and fix the problem. I agree about taking it in while under warranty - document the heck out of it.
