1LT vs 2LT package?
I'm looking at possibly getting a new 2019 GS. I currently have a C6, so I'm not as familiar with the C7. What does the 2LT pkg have that the 1LT pkg does not have? What are the main differences?

You may already know, but there is a growing consensus about the OEM wheels for the GS (Cup wheels) that they are .... prone to bending and/or cracking. I just read an article about a lawsuit filed against GM. So, if you get updated on the details you may avoid some frustration (by getting a different set of wheels or... ?)

I had a 1LT Stingray and the one thing that I really didn't like about it was the lack of memory seats. It was a pain to have to manually move the seat forward/back every time I got in/out. Since it was a daily driver it was a real pain to have to keep adjusting the seat. I traded in my Stingray 1LT for a Z06 2LT and I love the memory seats and front camera.

A 3LT comes with none, I'm bet the MANY 3LT owners with cracking/peeling leather dashes have plenty of regrets. Especially owners who have pair $2000>$3000 to have dashes replaced. Some even to have dashes crack again.

When I was looking for my car, I really wanted the heated/ventilated seats, homelink, color HUD and auto dimming mirrors. So the 2LT was what I looked for. If you do not care about all those things or if the ones you do are not worth $4500 to you, go with the 1LT. It is still a great car.

The 2LT is a happy medium, but another way to look at it is that the 2LT extras (see post 5) - the math is $4500 divided by 13 extra features equals $346 per. A few of these goodies are worth more than $346, but most are not.
On my C6 I found the HUD to be very valuable since the dash speedo was analog and thus harder to see. The HUD on a C7 is also very nice, but with the C7 dash speedo in digital it is much easier to view. If you opt for a black interior, you don't get the batwing, console lid, and door panels in alternate colors as you would with a gray or red interior.
A nice problem to have, good luck!

I'm with you Kevin...I had heated seats on my last C6...never used them (my wife liked them though), like the auto adjust mirrors...she has them on her car, I can't stand them...Didn't like the auto adjust seats either....It's awesome that there are those options for those who prefer all the auto bells and whistles..

2 LT is the sweet spot. The easy exit of the memory seats is great. At over 6’ it makes it much easier to get in and out.

Safety Car
I started out with a 1LT GS on hold, but after talking to a number of club members I was convinced to go 2LT. I was already planning on adding most of the items later anyhow, and when you consider the size of the investment in the car, you should buy the one you really want. I have had no friends regret buying the 2LT, but a few regret not stretching to get the 2LT. As far as 3LT I didnt see the value, and have no regret not getting a 3LT.
