You can stuff a road bike in a C7 coupe, no problem. I do it three or four times every season. The pics show a Specialized Roubaix but I've also put a Tarmac in there.

I know man. I come out of Costco and pull my full shopping cart up to the back of my Vette and people look at me like I'm crazy. So much room in that coupe, what a great car!

FYI:

Whether you are putting in a Vette or any other vehicle, never travel with a propane tank on it's side -- anything more than just a few minute ride, you have a potential bomb. Any build up of heat there is the potential to spew liquid propane, which will volatilize and put you in a position of having propane in the flammable range around your car with plenty of ignition sources.
