Default 5/12/19 Corvette Delivery week all over USA, Barn Finds etc *Mike [email protected]****

~So GM announced the Reveal date for the 8th Generation Corvette a few weeks ago and that date is July 18th 2019...the entire Corvette brethren must understand
time will still be needed to build out the end of the C7's which will most likely be thru the end of the Summer...and then the Corvette plant will need to close so that it can be
retooled which should take a couple of months and then once the 2020's do start production there will most likely be a QC hold before shipments to Chevrolet dealerships
begin...my point? We still have some time but we are getting closer. Have patience. This is my 5th Generation change that I've sold Corvettes thru and the one constant is?
Everyone wants the next Corvette yesterday! 41 years I have been selling Corvettes and the one thing that never changes, enthusiasm. Passion for the Corvette runs deep
and rightfully so. The reward is in the delivery. Stay tuned. www.corvettefurman.com

~Some Corvette deliveries this week around the USA.

~Joe Q. of Rockville Centre, NY called me 6 weeks ago and inquired about placing a factory order for a new 2019 Z06 Cpe. This week Joe drove down from Long Island to complete the paperwork/payment portion of the deal and to have me go over the whole Corvette with him.
He is having Plycar Trucking enclose trailer to his home in NY. Joe chose Long Beach Red Metallic with Spice Red Interior. Equipment list: Competition Seats, 7 spd manual trans, Visible carbon fiber Stinger on hood and Visible CF Roof panel along with transparent top, Visible carbon fiber ground effects Pkg, chrome wheels, chrome badges, Carbon fiber Instrument panel, Black calipers and 3LZ Pkg. This is Joe’s 4th Corvette purchase and he built it to keep!

~Tom M. of Erie, PA contacted me this week about an Elkhart Lake Blue 2019 Grand Sport Cpe. It will be perfect for his spirited driving on his local tracks near him in and around Pittsburgh. I met him Friday morning on my day off and I promised him
he would be in and out of Criswell inside of an hour. Promise kept!!
Equipment list: Auto transmission, 1LT Pkg, Carbon Flash Stinger stripe, CF badge Pkg, CF mirrors and Black Wheels.

~Bill R. of Monkton, MD was referred to me this week and we made an appt for 8am Saturday morning. We test drove a 7 spd manual and he was hooked. He bought his 96 Grand Sport here at Criswell back in 1996 and today he drove away in a
Torch Red 2019 Stingray Corvette Cpe. Equipment list: 7spd manual trans, 1LT Pkg, CF badge Pkg, Black Wheels, Red calipers and Performance exhaust.
Bill was glad we had 160 new Corvettes in stock and he chose wisely!

~Rich J. Of Hebron, Kentucky touched base with me 8 weeks ago and placed a factory order for Blade Silver with Kalahari Competition Seats for his new 2019 Z06 Cpe. Rich chose to take delivery at the National Corvette Museum so we completed
the paperwork/payment via Fed Ex and yesterday was Museum delivery day. Equipment list: CF dual roof Pkg, Cf hood Stinger stripe, CF Instrument Pkg, Auto trans, 10 spoke Blade Pearl Wheels, CF outside mirrors and 3LZ Pkg.

~Lou K. of Prescott, Arizona was referred to me about 6 weeks ago and he placed a factory order so he could fly into Maryland and drive his brand new Elkhart Lake Blue 2019 Corvette Grand Sport Cpe West making some pit stops along the way.
This is Lou’s very first Corvette and the color combo is dynamite! Equipment list: 7 Spd manual transmission, CF painted ground effects Pkg, full-length blade silver dual stripes, Body-color vents, chrome wheels and 1LT Pkg.

~Rich S. of Reed City, Michigan shipped his Red C4 using Plycar Trucking to Criswell and after the paperwork/payment was completed via Fed Ex then Plycar picked up his new Torch Red 2019 Grand Sport and brought it right to his Michigan driveway.
I am sure Rich is one happy GS Corvette owner!

I agree, that is a great looking combo! And I'm normally not a fan of stripes either, but on this one it looks amazing! Love the choice of interior color too (although I am biased in that regard)

I've never seen this car before, really nice. Funny thing is that it's a '66 with big 67's all over it (if i'm reading the placard in front of it correctly)

You are correct, that is a 1966 Corvette.

Mike I came across these in a box of old Corvette magazines. I believe these were given out at a Malcolm Konner Corvette show in 1987:
