Default Has anyone with a Z06 or GS not suffered from bent/cracked wheels?

There has been so much talk lately about cracked and bent wheels on Z06 and GS models that I was wondering if everyone was having this issue?

The thread question should instead be: "If you haven't bent/cracked Z06/GS wheels, have you ever actually checked your wheels". Seems a lot of people don't know they are cracked until they change tires, etc..

I have no problem yet but I am concerned. I have changed the tires after 3000 miles to non runflats. Don't know if this will help yet but the car is smoother and quieter.
I purchased a dial indicator and have checked all the wheels. The runout is good now but we will see as time goes on. I live in Texas and the roads are pretty good so I have not had any hard impacts yet - - - we will see!

I have the Z07 option with stiffer springs. Drive in Sport mode most of the time. 11k miles and no rim issues. I have had a couple nails in my tires though.

First thing Mike Furman warned me about, Don't drive the Z51 in track mode when not on the track.

I ran my Zo6 12,000 miles on factory wheels with no issues. The remaining 30,000 miles on Forgelines to take the worry out of bending a wheel. Want to keep them in good shape so I can sell it with factory wheels when the time comes.

They told you wrong. Most all the problems with these wheels are happening in Tour or Sport mode!

I have a GS and two sets of OEM wheels, chrome and black with 9500 combined miles with no issues. One set with PSS and one with AS3+ ZPs. Our roads are good around me, which is a big plus.

It’s a 17 and I always drive in Sport.

I did not realize I had bent wheels till I had new tires put on at 13600 or so miles. Discount tire found 3 of mine bent I actually was in area when my wheels came off and watched the mounting and mounting on balancer that's when they showed me rims were bent. I believe bad wheels were put on at factory that some how we're not caught till it was to late.

So far so good. ~6k on my 2018 GS. Drive in both tour and sport modes. I always keep the tires at 30 PSI cold.

Please explain that as stiffer the ride setting (Track) the higher risk of wheel damage.
Of course, I expect, C7s are driven more in Tour and Sport modes which could account for more being cracked/bent in those modes.
