Default Mothers Power Cone

I am not sure who posted it, but I want to high 5 the guy who posted using the Mothers Power Cone for tail pipe polishing. This works stellar! 5 minutes start to finish and my tailpipes look better than new, inside and out. Put some Mothers metal polish on the Cone, spin polish, wipe residue off. Never easier!

Thanks bro!!!!!

Glad you like it, but it seems expensive for what it is; over $22.

My experience is that Mother's power cone wears out too fast. I use the ones pictured below. Buy on amazon or harbor freight for less than $20. Have had mine for 3 years now and use them at least once a week.

I actually have 6 of these mothers power cones. One for exhaust, one for wheels, and the rest are replacements. LOL! They work great with a billet aluminum polish for the exhaust tips. My friend used it all the time on his car and the tips literally looked chrome after awhile.

I use both the ball and cone, but wrap them in T shirt strips so there is no clean up whatsoever.

Mother’s cone works great . When done cleaning I wrap cone with micro fiber towel to polish/ shine up even more. I found giving pipes a wipe with micro fiber towel after a cruise helps a lot. Obviously let pipes cool for a couple minutes

I had not polished my exhaust tips in more than four years and 87,000+ miles, so, on the recommendation of forum members, yesterday I bought a Powercone.... about 30 minutes this morning was all it took to get them back to looking almost as new.... thanks group!

I switched from these to the Power Cone. Never looked back. The Power cone cleans easier and much faster. These little jewels are somewhere in the land fill.

I guess I don't know how to use the power cone. I use it 3 or 4 times and it is in shreds.

My first ball was like that in six months. That's why I wrap it, now. The one I have now is at least 5 years old and looks practically new.

That's great!! But kind of defeats the purpose needing to.wrap your Powercone, don't it?

Even if it wears out every so often, the work savings is well worth it!

No.

The shape of both are outstanding, and wrapping them is the best of both worlds.
