I am in Cary and picked up my 2018 GS end of April.....wow what a car! Love this GS....my previous ride was a 2004 C5Z. BTW my background was full of Mustangs as I worked at FoMoCo. In 77 went to work for GM and got a Corvette (74 big block) been owning Vettes ever since. Welcome to the C7 club!

I know exactly how you fell! I too came from owning a Stang. I will always be a Mustang guy, however, the Corvette is just a different car all in its own. You will enjoy this car as I know I have, and continue to enjoy every day I go to work!

Another Mustang convert here. My 2012 GT500 was modified, and faster (and quicker) than my C7 is, but the C7 is overall a much more refined experience. That said, I know I'll be back in the Blue Oval camp in a few years, especially given that the new GT500 is going to be an absolute monster and I have zero interest in the C8. Welcome to the board!

I am in Wilmington. I ordered from Mike Furman at Criswell. So far a pleasure working with Mike. We ordered last week and he advised about 8 weeks. I am trying to put it out of my mind for now.
Congrats.

Actually didn't even realize it, but I am a mustang convert as well (hence my name)
2002 V6, stick -> 2010 GT, stick -> 2008 C6, stick -> 2017 GS, stick
Corvettes are in another class. Would be funny to see the comments in the mustang forum about you "choosing the dark side." Looks pretty light to me, would never want another mustang.

Hot ride! Welcome to the club and congrats I was once a Mustang owner. It was a 2013 Mustang GT with the GT Track package, Recaro seats, and Gotta Have It Green paint as the only options. I ordered it and waited the 8 weeks for it to be built and delivered. I really enjoyed that car and put about 35k miles on it in just under 3 years before trading it in. The only issue I ever had was a battery that crapped out after the first year of ownership. Ford replaced it under warranty and I was back on my way. Will definitely be interested to see the reviews of the new GT500 once the journalists get their hands on it.
