[sarcasm]You must be one of the few not having bent/cracked wheels.[/sarcasm]

Glad you did not have any major issues

Here was my factory "alignment" at the top (car had 50 miles on it):

Since I'd like my expensive tires to last for a little while, this is probably the first thing I'd do to any new vette.

My 19 Z06 is going in for the 500 mile oil change soon. Getting the alignment done for better wear on the tires.

depends

I had mine set to the DSC Sport street settings at my 500 mile oil change. I paid $150. Im good with it. Although IMO the stock alignment was garbage, it was within GM specs...nothing matched left to right...just sloppy IMO.

Now if you have a legit gripe about the car(pulls one way or the other, odd tire wear, etc...) I would expect it to be covered with an alignment set to GM specs...although maybe the tech will actually set it up well vs. the factory.

Ken, after the engine debacle you needed some luck. I'm taking my GS in for a street alignment this Friday. I don't need at track alignment, and want my tires to last as long as possible.

BTW, mine is 6 months old, and my service writer said they would handle under warranty.

My dealer would do the alignment check to GM specs, if I wanted the dsc specs they would have charged for it. Both vettes a year apart were out of gm alignment specs and we're adjusted n/c.

Both times my dealer said "let the suspension settle" (beyond the first 500 mile oil change) so I did both at around 900 miles.

That's why I took mine in but I paid for it (not done at a dealer)

Worth the $100 to me.....

My dealer would not do an alignment for my '19 GS at the 500 mile oil change. I asked for it to be done but they refused. There is a shop near me that is getting the set up for 'Vettes and they want to charge $300.00 for a complete alignment.

Mine was $150 at a specialty alignment shop that is proud of their work (they set the rear caster separately included in that price too). $300 seems way high.

My alignment was about $130 at my dealer and that included rear caster.
