Tempting GS at a small dealer
Went down to look at this 2019 GS. Compared to the window sticker on my 16 Stingray, the options list is pretty bare, but the GS package includes so many items I paid for it actually comes out less expensive!
I have to admit the retro red/black/chrome is appealing, since I always wanted a C1 . . .

Still on the fence, but this looks fun.

LOL, decisions, decisions. Have to admit, it's kind of an "end of an era" car. Ragtop manual.
Edit: Dealer is adding skirts/splitter

Easy peasy, a dealer posted: more vette vert allocations remain, this week on this forum. confirm this, then build a vette on the chevy website. If the discount on this one is more than the 12% discount an ordered vette gets, buy this one. if you can do it cheaper diy, roll the dice, get the 12% and hope for more GM discounts the month when delivered, AND Get it EXACTLY as you want it.
I hate dealers who troll without posting the price.

That is a great looking GS and if the price is OK, I would jump on it before someone else does.

No, Dealer is ATTACHING skirts/splitter that are factory supplied at no extra cost anyway (are they implying you're getting a deal for them doing so?)

Do it and stop that forever search of the greatest forum deal ever that so many have supposedly found.

You can do a little better than $69,200 on a GS Vert, but buying closed to home and getting what you want is worth quite a bit. You can always fine a cheaper C7 if price is all that matters to you.

LOL, thanks again for the input all. What local has going for it is saving 2 cross country shipping (about $2600) and $3000 more trade-in than the forum vendors. No matter what, it is a pretty car!

on a related note . . .
Configurator is down today, but I played with it yesterday. Just one of those "head-scratchers" but if you choose blue stitching you cannot have chrome wheels. Guest it clashes or something!

Easy and cheap to color the stitching yourself and not worry about the exorbitant GM prices

Go for it. I think that dealer might take a bit less since an M7 in a small town is more difficult to sell. I love my M7. Make an offer for somewhat less and see how they react. It is a gorgeous Corvette! A Torch Red convertible and manual - none better!
