Convertible - hidden storage tray revealed
How many folks are aware of this hidden storage tray behind the waterfall in the convertible? Goes the entire width of the waterfall.

That’s where they are putting the engine in the C8.

To get a shot I pushed the driver seat back forward and pointed a flashlite while I took a pic. It is right in back of the waterfall between the 2 speakers. It is an actual tray that can hold things,

Interesting, but I would imagine that access and storage is kind of limited.

Is it actually INTENDED for storage or is the space just kind of there and CAN be used? What would you store there?

It's literally big enough to store a pair of 🕶️.
Not like the C6 , in which we could put a whole lot of stuff back there.

Doubt it was actually intended for storage due to its location, but I find it odd that is is actually shaped like a storage tray for change, a phone, glasses, etc.

A great place to but small, hard items in case you don't have any other rattles to drive passengers nuts with.

So I had a 458 Spider and the BEST THING was being able to actually lower the rear window with the top up or down. My biggest problem with these hardtops is they really seem like targa's to me. You don't get the real feeling of open air.

Now LEO knows where the smiley dude he just pulled over has his stash. I hate it when that happens.
