See it didn’t melt. Enjoy your cars folks. I have yet to see a uhaul attached to a hearse. Don’t be scared of putting the miles on it or driving it on a rainy day. You won’t be taking it with you when it’s all said n done.

Yep, they won't melt. We picked up our new GS from Mike Furman at Criswell, and it rained all the way back to North Carolina. I do know the wipers are up to the task for sure.
I don't usually don't take mine out if it's raining, but if it rains while I'm out it's no big deal.

Yeah, the car will drive just fine in the rain. May take a little extra time to clean up after being in the rain, but look at it as therapy and bonding time.

Exactly! It's a car.
Btw, it poured on me most of my 1600 mile trip home from Kerbeck's when I bought mine. For me, it's to drive, pure and simple.

Park at the end of the lot where you have to walk a bit further. You get the exercise and your car is away from all the other cars since everyone else wants to park as close to the entrance as possible. I do the same at the gym as well.

i consider the Vette (with A/S 3+) an all weather interceptor, not just a fair weather friend. in the Road & Track ZR1 Review:
In this respect, like so many others, it is just an ordinary Corvette. MacDonald notes that they had to “certify” the car to the same standards as a base, non-Z51 Stingray, including a test in which the 755-hp, big-wing track monster had to ford 12 inches of water at about 5 mph.
“At times, it was a hassle to certify it,” MacDonald says, “and you kind of envy the exotic-brand engineers who don’t have to do this stuff . . . but it makes for a better product in the end. It’s a real car. You can use it like a real car. And our customers expect that. It’s part of the Corvette brand.”

Despite the frigid temperatures and inches of snow that swept over parts of the country these past few months, this 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 was still out and about, frolicking in the snow. Needless to say, it’ll take more than a little dusting from Jack Frost to keep the Corvette team from doing its job.

Hell it is the car I drive when IT IS RAINING!
This time of year its back on the bike for the daily commute. When it starts hitting 105-110 I might jump in the GS just for a day or two of air conditioning

I have had the pleasure of driving a vette everyday since 2006 ( except for a couple brief periods when I traded one out). It is my DD and what memories I have ...these cars get under your skin. I have tried to break away , once with a 2016 Gen6 Camaro SS..for a year ...then a 2017 Porsche Macan for 6 months.....could not wait to get back in my 3rd C7 (GS) Ican tell you here in Tampa Florida summer is the rainy season and these massive meats on this car will plane your *** right off the road if you are not careful...

Someone else in the Ft Lauderdale area checking in here... and yes the rain this week has been pretty bad.
Corvettes are made with fiberglass - ironically the same material that my BOAT is made from, thus I think it will be fine

Try the Wet mode in ride selection. At the Ron Fellows Corvette Owners School, the instructors had us drive in this mode on a wet track. It was a learning experience there. It has been a practical experience in wet Florida lately. You will be impressed at the stability this mode creates in heavy rain!

Better to drive it daily than watch it depreciate in the garage. 1st 2 Corvettes were garage queens, next 2 are daily drivers. Enjoy them, best performance car out there for the $$$. #KAG
