Brightened up this little guys day
I hear about this sort of thing, but this was the first time I actually experienced it myself.
As I was pulling into a parking spot at Costco this morning. This little guy stopped dead in his tracks, pulled out of his moms hand, and was pointing to my car, from another isle over, saying what looked like Corvette Corvette. It was actually more to the tune of Corwette Corwette.
So I asked mom and dad if they like to let him try it on, (toys and all) and both of them were as excited as the little man at the photo op.
Mom was telling me how he would spot Corvettes, point them out when driving down the road, and how his older brother, who wasn’t there, it’s going to be so jealous when he sees the pictures.
Sometimes it’s the small things.

Thumbs up!
Good for you letting the little guy enjoy. Hopefully they took some pics too...and one day he will chase the dream.

Safety Car
In my book he gets bonus points for the U shirt
Last Halloween I had a similar situation at my house. Some younger kids came up, got their candy but before walking away asked if they could take some pictures standing next our C7, so we said sure

I did something similar when I had my car at the Woodward Dream Cruise in MI last year. I was letting kids and adults alike sit in it and take pictures with it. I'm a firm believer that cars are meant to be shared and enjoyed rather than being placed behind ropes and inside bubbles.

I was with a group of Vette owners displaying our cars at a local charity cruise-in recently. A lady from Turkey asked if she could take a pic of her son with my car. He was about ten years old and I willingly obliged. He kept looking inside the car so I let him get behind the wheel and have Mom takes some pics. He sure was happy!

Similar thing happened to me several weeks ago. I just came out of my credit union and passed a man with his, I would say, 10 or 11 year old daughter going in the credit union. I got in the car and was just going to start the car when I looked up and both of them were looking back at me with these big grins on their faces and dad said she wants to hear you start it up!!! I then thought for a second, now here is a young girl not so much interested in the look of the car as she was more interested in what it would sound like when I started it up!! Well, I got out of the car and asked Dad if she'd be interested in sitting inside and taking a few pics. The smile on her face got bigger and I thought her eyes were going to pop out of her head!!! I stepped back and dad got out the phone camera and they got all the pics they wanted. This possibly may be a moment she may never forget!
I obviously did not take any pics as that would have been waaaaaay too creepy!!!
