Shopping for peaches
Took my recently cleaned blue shopping cart to the orchard... with newly shiny rotors after losing the PowerTrash pads. We had a few rare low humidity days here in the mid-Atlantic... that are now over.

I went with the EBC Red Stuff pads. I like them a lot. Dead quiet and really good feel. I haven't really given them a good dust evaluation yet since I was just bedding them in which produces a lot of dust. Subjectively they seem to be somewhere in between the PowerStops and the OEM for dust. And also subjectively, they seem to have initial bite closer to OEM than PowerStop. I hate to agree with JerryU ;-) but he is right the PowerStops aren't really there. It really isn't a problem, just takes a bit more force on the pedal to get the same brake action. The EBCs do feel better. in any case I am done replacing brake pads that don't need replacing.
It is interesting how light and clouds can affect photos and how some conditions make colors pop. This one seemed to do that.

We have some decent orchards here in MD but they come in later than down south. Maybe not as good as Georgia peaches but worlds better than the grocery store tennis *****. I grew up and still have family in Florida... once upon a time I stopped in Georgia on the way down and got a huge basket of peaches. Best peaches I have ever had.

Each summer a local garden supply place has a big truck from Georgia come up full of peaches. There's very little publicity, but the line of people waiting when it arrives will be 100 yds long in the hot sun.
