Stepped up my Vette game
This past Saturday, I traded in my 16 Stingray for a huge upgrade... my very first Z06! I couldn't be happier.

WoW beautiful, black is hard to beat! But takes quite a bit of effort to keep it that way. Congrats

Other than the obvious (acceleration), the suspension is noticeably tighter and not in a bad way. I had a Z51 without MRC and it was actually a rougher ride in touring mode than the Z06 with MRC is in touring mode. I actually expected the opposite would be true.
It may be my imagination but the throttle also seems slightly more responsive. Nothing crazy but when you want to go, it doesn't think about it. It just goes.
The power and acceleration feel more manageable that I expected. I read a lot of people saying that it has too much power, blah, blah, blah... and I'm sure it could easily get away from you but I've not felt unsafe pushing it a bit.
It's much louder than the Stingray. When I've been cruising at low speed, there's a deeper rumble. At WOT, it borders on obnoxious. I love the sound!
This may also be obvious but man this thing gets a lot of attention. I was sitting in a parking lot playing with settings right after I picked it up and a couple of young guys came up to my window to ask if I would take their picture with it (which I did). Everyone seems to want to ask me about it. Sitting at stop lights, at the gas station... you name it. There's no blending with the crowd.
Other than that, I can't think of any major differences. When you're just cruising, it's easy to forget you're in a 650hp car. It's fun and easy to drive.
