Hello,
I have the range unit in my '19 GS. By not allowing the V4 mode to operate will that have a effect on those working parts and thus gacking up those parts. If you don't use it, you lose it ???

You are not damaging or causing undue wear by avoiding V4 mode.

I buy used cars except for the corvette although that may change too.

Ever since front components became plastic, if I see a used car with a perfect front I assume repaint.

I take a chance but have used my body man who knows what he is doing to repaint for about $500. His work holds up but it a regular car or suv not a vette.

Yeah as soon as the shudder started, I ordered one. Works like a charm. However it was still an issue.

Well got the call, nothing is covered under the CPO for the paint. They felt it had been repainted thus not GM's fault. I understand, but it still sucks.

Interesting, Both of my bumpers did this so I went to the dealer and they said the both bumpers were repainted and wouldn't be a warranty repair. I think the cost was around 1900 for both of them at a local body shop and that was with me doing the removal and installation.
