I dunno. I can't vouch for everyone's reactions, but if I owned any car that burst into flames, the last thing I'd do is film it...much less post it on YouTube. Uhh...my car is on fire - I've got calls to make: insurance claims, police reports, let the immediate family know, err...find a ride home, etc. The last thing on my mind is (with all due respect) posting on Corvette Forum or YouTube. I don't want to see my car in the process of being damaged on film over and over unless it either helps my case in court or if it happened on the track (mainly to prevent it from happening again).

I know any time a real tragedy strikes the first thing I do is whip out my smart-phone and start taking vids of said tragedy and my own reaction to it.
Looks like blatant promotion for his little fledgling YT channel.
Strong first post.
Also Strong first post.

Let me explain clickbait...it's when the title or thumbnail doesn't reflect what's actually in the video. This increases views, but leads to very high bounce rate or short avg viewing times. The guy didn't BURN HIS CAR to feed his 1100 sub channel. Were it doucheboy from StreetSpeed I'd probably question it but...you don't burn your car to grow your 1100 sub channel, because your car burning up isn't really going to lead to subs, just views of that exact vid. Ad rev on that isn't gonna be sh*t anyway, he doesn't have enough subs to be monetized under the new rules.
He posted it because it happened, clearly looked kinda speechless watching it burn.

I could MAYBE see someone taking a vid of the event while it happened, but not repeatedly turning the camera toward themselves and talking to it and recording their own reaction to (and comments about) the event. That's the part that makes it seem staged.
A little over 3 years ago my brand new (less than 1 year old) SRT 392 was wrecked when a dude turned left in front of me. I did not at any point take out my smart-phone and start making a video of the aftermath. I was genuinely too upset to think "Hey, this might make a good video for my YT Channel."
I was more worried about real-world **** like how much did this jackass just cost me, how am I going to get to work tomorrow, etc. plus dealing with cops, witnesses, tow truck driver, arranging for a rental, etc. You know; **** NORMAL people do when something like this happens.

But not stating why this happened, even in simple terms with a "more detail to follow" and then not responding at all is the fishy stuff.

Riiight! he just happened to come across a burning C7 and filmed it for his channel. Or somebody else burned up a $50K car as a "publicity stunt." The only thing not believable here is your answers.

Firefighter jackets said BCFD, I googled and found Baltimore City but their FB page all their jackets actually said Baltimore City on them. If anyone really wants to dig into it further, try looking for license plates or text on the fire/tow trucks. I just watched from my phone and couldn't really see much
