Video is too blurry in pause motion, couldn't make out anything discernible with respect to tags and tow truck door graphics. If OP is in the Nashville area, there is a Brentwood City FD near by.

Those who might remember Black and White from around 2015, who was banned a few times under multiple user names for posting a bunch of nonsense and taking threatening tones, will get it and maybe smile a bit at my attempt at humor. Others won't know or remember and move on to something else. Others will get a bit wrapped around the axles for whatever reason. Sorry if I caused you any pain.

After all the "gullibles" bought into this absurd story, I said in post 32 that I'm not buying it. At this point I think I'm safe in saying that's it's total BS.

If the OP is seeking attention he is certainly getting it in this thread.

This is why I brief passengers on the manual handle. Must be the Pilot in me to always brief people on emergency procedures.

Did you get THE LETTER?
GM sends letter
if not set up a my chevrolet webpage with your vin number and if the fuel tank leak warranty 17469 extends to your car, it will be listed.
When i got the letter, read completely the planned GM inaction (wait and see) until it's too late; i sold the car and bought a newer one not affected. GM is playing with fire not doing a full recall of all affected units to fix; instead just wait and sniff, then fix. But then again, exhibit a, the lethal GM ignition switch.

I've been around forum land and YouTube long enough to know when it walks like a duck, and it talks like a duck, that it's a duck.
Good luck OP. If you really cared about your car and this forum, you would have been posting up a storm in here.

I will not be surprised if it was a result of the faulty top flange on the fuel tank. GM is putting profit above safety by not issuing a recall. The dumb thing is the first person to be killed as a result of this known defect will cost them $100 million plus in addition to world wide bad press.

I think his post was genuine. He obviously is not well spoken but damn this is a tough crowd. Why in the hell would someone torch their own car for a YouTube video? Especially when he has not made any income on any of his videos. This is not the first c7 to go up in flames after all.
