Only that he dropped a link to the video in here to try and intentionally advance his channel and then ran away and I can get that but geez, at least try and have some interaction with the forum.

I think this is a case of Circumstance meets Opportunity. His YouTube channel is about a year old, and what a way to give it a good shot-in-the-arm with a good Corvette car fire. He had his Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube channels advertised on the back fender so he's obviously making an effort to monetize his presence on social media. He just did the usual YouTube thing with a click-bait headline to draw you in and not giving you full information hoping you'll come back for more.

Sorry for not posting sooner I’ve been out of town this past week. I just made a new video but to save you all from watching it I’ll share details here.
I had lipo batteries charging in the hatch of my Vette. One lipo explode while I was driving down the road. I had a fire extinguisher but it was in the hatch with the fire. The fire spread so quickly there was nothing I could do. No, the lipo was not being charged inside of a fire bag(not sure exactly what they’re called) like it should have been. This is something that could have been avoided. As a corvette owner I joined years ago after purchasing a c6. I would search the forum if I ever had issues and would always find what I was looking for without posting. Feel free to ask more question if you have them, I will try to monitor this and replying as soon as possible. Please refrain from any hateful comments. My mistake, I know.

RC car lipos? I've had those suckers go before. They are no joke. Wow.
EDIT: Yeah, I've seen those pop before (watched the video). OUCH man. Lipos scare the crap out of me. I only charge them in bags and in a sealed ammo box now, and even there it is only in the driveway. I had one go in an 1/8th scale onroad car (6S, 100mph). It was quite the fireball. GLAD you are ok!
Also, for the Lipos you have still, PUT THEM IN A SEALED AMMO BOX! They can go even when dormant. Be careful bro...

Glad to hear it wasn’t the Vette that caused it. I race rc cars on the weekends and have eight 8000mah battery packs that I have to charge. I always charge in a fire proof bag using a high quality balance charger. I charge on a concrete basement floor with nothing near it. You can never be too safe. Sorry for your loss.
