Default Rear driver wheel ticking

16, M7, z51 with mag. At takeoff, in first gear, rear driver side wheel ticks several times. Happens when I gas and when I let off the accelerator. Doesnít happen any other time, silent otherwise. Itís like the tick that many complain about coming from the front wheels when brake dust gets between rim and rotor (not to be confused with the wheel chatter that so many freak out about)

starting happening after some hard driving last week, hard acceleration and hard stops. Is it possibly the brake dust culprit that makes the front rims ďtickĒ? Anyone else experience this in the rear wheels? Iíll pull the rear rim off this weekend and clean it, just figured Iíd ask first

I don't know about the C7, but on my C5 I've had to have the rear axle nuts retorqued a couple times in the last 18 years because of what seemed much like you describe with your car. It seems I've read similar about a very few C7s on here, as well. Just a thought. All the best.

Thank you Avanti. Just so I’m understanding correctly, are we talking spindle?

Update:
hubnut torqued to spec (184lb ft)
rear rims removed, cleaned. Rear rotor hats and hubs cleaned, free of any brake dust and debris
Tried a separate set of rims (in case a wheel issue).
The ticking at start and stop still there.
Lifted car. Shut off all nannies. Got it up to 20mph. Not a single click. So issue is only under load
beginning to suspect CV haft shaft or much more unlikely, the hub.
Please share your thoughts. Any ideas?
