Default Question about jacking the C7

Do we need to remove the top and open all doors and hatch?

Spoke to Discount Tire about mounting my new rims coming to me and they mentioned doing this?

Necessary?

I figured I'd get a jack and swap the wheels on my own during the season changes.

No. That's a remnant relating to ancient, whippy Vette frames from bygone days. Anyway, that's my best guess.

It was a thing to do with C3's and maybe even C4's. No need with any Corvettes after that.

Definitely do not need to do all those things. Ever since the C5, the need to do that has been eliminated.

You can jack from one side to get both wheels off the ground to change the wheels on that side with one lift.

The C7 is so solid that you can jack it up using the front point and the entire side = both wheels - will be off the surface!
