Default Prepping the garage for my new '19 Z06!!

I placed an order a few weeks ago with Tommy Jr. at MacMulkin for a new 19 Z06. This will be my 12th Vette but first C7.....I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to get a new Corvette with a manual as that might not be the case going forward. I went with...

19 Z - 2LZ
Elkhart Lake Blue
Grey Interior
M7
Carbon Flash Ground Effects
Visible Carbon Fiber Roof Panel
10 Spoke Blade Wheels in Pearl Nickel
Competition Seats
Carbon Fiber Dash

That said it’s time to prep the garage in advance of her arrival. I cleaned up and rearranged things last weekend. I ordered some new signage and was able to get the Corvette Script up today with some black paint as a back drop. C7 parking only sign arrived and got that setup....metal flag emblem should arrive early next week.

I also ordered some Race Deck flooring as I had installed it in previous house....came up with this layout to mimic the NewAge cabinets. I hope to have it installed next weekend.

With the work I did last week to rearrange things I was able to free up some wall space so I ordered two more 48” lockers and the should arrive in the next week or so....I have the Performance 2.0 series this time around....had the Pro version before and would probably get them again as they are much sturdier.

A few pics of the garage before I got started....

A pic of the paint work to offset the new Corvette script sign....

And a few pics of the end result....more to come next weekend.....

Very cool garage you have and the Race Deck flooring will look great in it. Congrats also on the C7 Z.

Congrats. When I ordered my Racetrack Freeflow floor a few years ago, configuring it online was as much fun as installing it.

Nice garage! I came across your pics when doing my search and used it a bit for inspiration on how to lay things out. I also remember seeing your C5 quite a bit in the the forum when I had a few of mine. Sharp ride!

It is always nice to see a garage getting a remodel. That generally means the rest of the house has already been done...congrats. Looks really nice I see the floor matches the cabinets very well. Did you think of getting a red zo6

Very nice setup. What cabinets are those an where did you get the Corvette script and emblem on the wall?

All done!! At least for now...though the biggest change will be when the Z arrives...gets built next week, can’t wait!

I’m happy with how things turned out...might add a few subtle things here and there....both RH lockers doors came creased so hopefully I can get replacements...they were packaged well so makes me feel they came this way?

Let me know what you think.

Well New Age stepped up but problem wasn't completely solved....they sent two new sets of doors....both came damaged again....luckily one had slight damage and on the inside of the door, so I was able to swap out the really damaged RH door on the left most cabinet locker. They came packaged really well again so I don't know what's going on....instead of sending me more doors they credited me back $300 which I thought was very fair.

The Z has arrived at my courtesy dealer....picking her up tomorrow and will get her registered. Already have an appointment next week to drop her off for Stek Clear Bra and ceramic coating....also getting it dropped on the stock bolts. I have some painted pieces on order with RPI that still haven't shown up....has been 8 weeks...oddly enough you can order something this week and pick it up in Carlisle in two weeks. I'll be sure to post pics of the new ride in her new home....as well as some subtle mods I have planned.
