Fixed
Just wanted to let everyone know that after four attempts my car was repaired. Cause of the issue was a loose wire in the body control module box, or so that’s what I’m told. Have had the car back and put about 500 miles on with no further issues.
A big thank you to the person who put me in contact with the executive office which got this expedited for sure

So, what makes the OP's car a lemon after only 3 weeks?

Has to be at least a month old before you can call it a lemon. Dealer has to be given three times to fix the same problem and a month. So you're jumping the gun here. Of course, you didn't bother to elaborate on exactly what is wrong, so you've got everyone flying blind out here. Surely you don't expect any useful information with such a paltry explanation. Put some effort into it and you might get something back out.

More info on exactly what is wrong with your car would really help.

The car has been having electrical problems as is it’s poping codes for:
engine faliure
trans failure
service rear diff
Stabiltrac system failure
power steering failure
emissions failure
etc.
onstar reads the codes as all systems failing please bring car to dealer
dealer has services three separate times and told me it’s a lemon.
it has 900 miles on the car and I bought it with 9 miles
i am just curious if anyone has gone thru the process and how Chevy handles this. I will not get anymore info from Chevy until Monday.
Thank you

Melting Slicks
For sure others have dealt with this issue and it isn't always so clear as yours. It looks like your issue should be simple, but just in case look at the lemon law rules in your state and make sure you follow the steps to get the car lemon'd as soon as possible. You have a wiring harness issue and it could be as simple as re-seating a connector, but if it is not that simple you want to document number of attempts to repair and total time. You want every visit to the dealer to register as an attempt to fix the problem. Typically it is 3 attempts or 30 days in shop and it qualifies under lemon law.

Been there done that . Complete all local state requirements for lemon law....do not threaten to get a lawyer or BBB, that is always an option but nothing shuts your case down more than threatening those.
Take copious notes on times/dates of service and conversations, this will help make your case. Understand it is not the dealer at this point but you need him in your corner, once they sell the car GM is your go to. Have them get in touch with your regional rep, he will make the call. Reach out to GM back channels to get your case attention...emphasize any and all patronage to GM products ......good luck

I feel for you bro. It blows to have big troubles with my first brand new vette. My '15 went belly up with 100 miles on the clock. Know your state laws, document everything carefully, and contact Mary Barra's office for an "executive escalation", and do a search on lemon here and you will find all the key points.
It may be as simple as a weak battery. GM fixed mine on the last day (of the 30 days for a repair) and replaced the tranny and mine has been fine ever since. It is a downer, and sucks big time and it is hard to get over.
Read the Lemon threads and keep us posted on what they find. Hopefully it will work out for you in the end and be something very minor like a bad battery, ground or computer module.

Just curious on how lemon laws work. If you purchase a car new out of state on line, take delivery in the Bowling Green museum and then drive it back to Florida where all service takes place, for the purpose of the lemon law what state do you deal with?
P.S. Not a hint of problem yet!!

Thanks for the info
Thanks for the info and the name of someone to contact. My vette is currently still at Chevy attempt number 4. They call it lemon and are going to advise me what to do. I will update on how this is handled.
I hope they can fix or replace

To the OP..I went through a similar experience with Ford over a Mustang GT that was a lemon. My advise to you is to document everything...the nature of your problems, dates & time, pictures, people you spoke with, phone numbers you called...everything.
Anything & everything you have documented will be very helpful when the regional manager reviews your case.
Good luck

Read your little warranty book. It states in black and white that if GM can't fix your car after ample opportunities they will replace or buy back. I went the BBB route and GM bought my 16 back. The BBB website is listed in the book. Good luck.

I am just finishing the repurchase process.
My best advise is to get into direct contact with your regional service manager. In my case, he was the person to get the repurchase process began. He will have to get approval from his boss, but I doubt you will be able to have direct contact with anyone above him.
I emailed the address for the CEO and was put in contact with the executive resolution team. I found them to be helpful in getting parts quickly, but appeared useless in the repurchase process.
The salesmen have little say in what goes on after the sale. They might give some advise and get you in contact with the regional service manager, but that is about it.
In my case, GM was resistant to do a repurchase until multiple problems were found and I was near the lemon law requirements. Once they approved the repurchase, the process was not too bad. I was told it usually takes between 10-12 days from the day a repurchase coordinator contacts you to schedule a closing for the repurchase. I believe mine was right at 10 days.
I would suggest you do your best to get this done through GM as other approaches will likely take a lot longer. Additionally, you can negotiate some additional incentives for your aggravation such as accessory money.
If you have any specific questions, feel free to pm me.

OP, nice looking car. Hope you get a satisfactory resolution. I know what it feels like to see your brand new C7 on a flatbed going back to the dealer, in my case about 5 hours after I picked it up. (Fortunately the great folks at Criswell Chevrolet got mine diagnosed and repaired quickly, no issues since). Charwoods3 above has some great advice and his patience with the situation is a model for others to follow.
