Default Wheel options

I am having an orange c7 delivered. It has chrome wheels, which from pictures of chrome wheels on most vehicles, I'm not much of a fan. I have a few options and I was wondering everyone's opinion.

Option 1: I'd prefer this happens

I end up liking how they look in person and this thread was pointless. (This ended up happening)

Option 2:

Trade local for OEM black wheels.

Option 3: (would still like opinions on these wheels even if you dont like this option)

Sell local and buy one of the following. (Black)
BM10
AR924
Reproductions

Option 4:

Powder coat

Option 5:

Plastidip

Thank you!

I would just wait, give it some time, and see how well you like the chrome wheels on the car. I think chrome looks good with the orange color.

Personally I am not a fan of black wheels so that would be out for me - too much of a Halloween theme (orange/black) even if the accent pieces on the car may be carbon flash.

I do like the AR924 wheels, so that would certainly be an option, although again, not necessarily black.

Remember, this is just my opinion and you are the one that has to be happy with your choice. Good luck and congrats on the pending delivery of your C7.

I had chrome and I just changed then out for the AR924s. It it depends how flashy you want to be. The chrome was actually starting to grow on me until I started deleting the other chrome accents in the car, then they started looking out of place.

I've plastidipped wheels before and it can look good at first but it starts to look worn out pretty fast from the brake dust so I'd avoid that. Powder coating is a great option too but you're car will be out of commission for a little while while it all gets done.

For orange, I'd keep the chrome. Agreed with the orange/black looking too much like a halloween theme.

My worry with chrome is they seem WAY to blingy (from what ive seen in pictures). Does being in person/natural light kind of dull the sparkles down a bit?

Yeah, chrome is for jewlery imo. For cheapest, I'd get them stripped down and powder coated to a color of your choice.

For aftermarket wheels option, contact Gerry @ CW4L (forum vendor), he knows his wheels.

Option #4. Seriously, keep the wheels. ... Option 2 is good IMO as well.

Definitely black w/orange, but there are several black vs. chrome threads to fish through... Nonetheless, congrats on the car

I actually like the chrome in person. So I won't be changing the wheels
