OK I will admit I am overweight but still squeeze in the Corvette seats. But for some reason when I enter or exit the vehicle the trunk release button get pushed on the remote. I keep the remote in my front pants pocket. Anyway to make it double press instead of single to open the trunk lid? I know the best solution would be to lose weight - like that's going to happen... and no I will not be posting photos

You aren't hitting the button on the dash to open the trunk with your knee are you?

I'm 6'2" and this happens to me often when entering or exiting my Stingray. I'm willing to bet the OP is doing the same thing and its not his FOB. Its only frustrating when I hit in when I enter the car, but normally my wife will step out and close the hatch for me.

don't think getting a wife is an affordable solution. will have to watch my knees
I think the trunk release button is too easily triggered by a knee. Happens to me often.
Should that turn out to be what is happening in your case, a CF member here

True, that will help but I have 2 buttons down there. A trunk release and an alarm over-ride. They sit side by side and that "fix" would be an issue for the alarm button.
