I'm a long time hot rodder and been playing with a 2019 C7 GS. I bought it new and quickly installed cam/lifters/LME ported heads/MSD manifold/AR full length 17/8 headers and full system/no cats/catch can/AA centrifugal blower, ported LT4 throttle body/ 6 lbs boost/adj rear toe rods,1/2-degree camber/6K$ of billet wheels/and a street able tune. Car runs 135 mph at 10.21 ET on E-85 with MT 325 35 18 Street R drag radials. Just installed meth injection and an improved tune, hoping to run high 9's. We'll see, soon I hope.

You lost me after the words "quickly installed" but it sounds like a killer build. How about some pictures!

First thing I did was billet wheels.

If you plan on voiding the warranty might as well do it soon as possible.

You can just see the blow off valve in the left hand lower corner, just out of the picture is the waste gate. Both set at 7 lbs, dat log shows max of 6 pounds. Engine makes 820+hp/700 at the wheels.

I'm kind of surprised you're only getting 700 to the wheels. My SS has very nearly the exact mods and runs 10.85 with over 700 at the wheels. Of course the weight difference gets yours to the end quicker. My best trap was 133mph.

The ring gap on an LT1 is .007 from the factory, 7 pounds of boost is the limit before disaster. I'm at 6 lbs boost, my guess is that you are running more boost. Also my track limits cars to 10.0 ET and 135, go faster or quicker and you're out. I'm right there, so any faster or quicker and the fun goes away. If I go into the engine and open up the ring gap, double or triple the boost I think 1000 WHP is possible. And at point I have to find another track to race.

I am a tad higher on the boost then you. And that sux about the track limiting you. But yes, you could easily get 1k to the wheels but I would go with an iron block and fully forged at that level. These aluminum blocks start to deform once you're in ludicrous range lol.
