I never received instructions for the maintainer - but simple setup. Have used it for years.
green light on Orange charging then goes out then the outer light goes to green showing fully charged
I don't seem to have any switch for mode - so must be a different model that I can't find instructions for mine
Now the middle charging light is flashing orange about every second. Not sure what that is trying to tell me. Think the fully charged light is on - but not 100% sure - at work now
what does flashing orange charging light mean?
2019 with original battery - old saying it ran when parked
The manual says a flashing light means "The charger has entered the energy save mode. This happens if the charger isn't connected to the battery within 2 minutes or the battery voltage is below 2v."
If it was me, id disconnect it from the port then reconnect it twisting it around a bit. But you can also hit the RESET button and see if that works.
I had the flashing orange light too. I tried twisting the plug, unplugging and replugging, etc. but the flash remained. Several previous posts blamed the quality of the connector plug. I cut off the "factory" plug and spliced a better quality plug on the line and Poof!, flashing orange disappeared and hasn't come back.
I switched to Battery Tender Plus units 25+ years ago and have never had an issue and never looked back..... I've used 'em on motorcycles, deep cycle RV batts, lawnmowers, snowblowers (shudder) and Corvettes. Flawless on all of them.

thanks - I'll try that
Have the battery tender on other vehicles
Brother bought a cheapy HF one - seemed ok until I read the instructions one green light indicating charging it goes out when finished. so no light cannot tell if it's working or not visually on his garden tractor so not too concerned
Unplug the maintainer from the wall outlet first, then from the car. Reverse order to reconnect. I had the Corvette C6 branded CTEX for my 2013 GS for about 5 years. Traded my 13 for my 2019 GS with a new C7 branded CTEK and after more than 7 years, no issues. Replaced the battery at 6 years which appears to be about the average time period.
This happens occasionally with mine the blinking orange light. I usually just unplug from the wall outlet, then plug back in the receptacle and it stays solid green. Or wiggle the plug in the receptacle and it would go away and stay green. I always thought some how it just lost a solid connection and that the charger was letting me know, because every time I unplugged and reconnected it always immediately went back to the solid green. I’ve had the charger almost 8 years and seems to still be charging fine. I just periodically go in the garage and make sure it’s a solid green which is 98% of the time.
