Default Micro Suede Interior

Hi all. Looking at a potential buy that has micro suede interior. Wondering a few things about this.
1. Does it get too warm sitting on after awhile?
2. Are those type of seats heated and cooled?
3. Do they leave butt prints that have to be brushed?
4. Do they get a matted down, worn look after a period of time?
5. Opinions?
Thanks for any guidance. GS4C7’s

Are you talking just the suede seats or the entire 3LT suede interior? I have the comp suede seats. I don't think they get any warmer than any other seat. They are heated and ventilated. They don't necessarily leave butt prints but occasionally I'll brush the suede in the same direction. My seats are from 2017 and are not matted down. I also have the suede steering wheel and shift **** which I clean occasionally with a brush to avoid getting matted down.

No, yes (heated and ventilated, per above), no, no. I like them a lot.

We bought our 2017 2LT, black interior, new off the lot, it had the "Sueded microfiber seat inserts, steering wheel" for an additional $695. That also got us a suede gear selector.
I thought the suede was a complete waste of money and would have gladly deleted it if able, but the car was $12k below list and otherwise exactly as we wanted, so I gulped and bought it.

Now at 9 years/66k miles, we think the suede was a bargain. The seats don't feel as hot as black "leather", in fact a little cooler in summer but warmer in winter. For aggressive driving they help hold us in place, someone said (in a good way) it's like trying to slide your *** across fly paper. Still looks brand new.
The steering wheel gets matted down after a year but a good wipedown with a damp black terrycloth towel makes it look new, better than leather at that age.
Because of the suede, those two bumps on the steering wheel at 10 & 2 feel like I'm fondling a small rodent but I got used to it.
The suede gear selector still looks goofy But I don't stare at it.

If you are concerned about it getting matted down over time, Sonax Alcantara Upholstery cleaner with a toothbrush works wonders.

Absolutely 👍! The stuff is amazing I highly recommend buying it to keep it in tip top shape. If it starts to get matted down this stuff will fluff it up and bri g it back to life.

Wish I'da known about that upholstery cleaner before. I had a 2003 with the suede interior. I keep my left forearm/elbow on the armrest on the drivers door and eventually it left a semi-permanent indentation in the armrest. I've since gotten rid of it but....

I have the best of both worlds. Alcantara steering wheel and carbon fiber wheel. My Alcantara cleaning with sonax came out great! On my steering wheel

I just bought a 2016 with suede wheel, seats, shifter and boot as well as A-pillers and more. The wheel was nasty, had a brown tinge and looked so matted down that it was smooth. I watched so many videos on repairing it. I finally went with the cheapest. Dawn clear dish soap and hot water, used a used toothbrush and microfiber. it looks like new. I am amazed, I wish I would have taken better before pics. I need to do the seats now.

The seat inserts are easier to clean than the rest of the trim.

It's a different fabric.
