Hi there - How are they mounted? Will they hold at 180 MPH?

It mounts using exiting bolts already under the car, there are two extra screws provided that you would have to drill to use them to give it a little extra support if you chose. We have never tested this spliter at speeds (not sure if most companies do) but we do feel comfortable that there should be no problem of up to 140mph or less. The speed issue is not with the spliter, the part itself can handle the speed it is with there is not additional bracing behind the front fascia for the increase speeds. In theory at a certain point the front fascia will start to pull down and speeds increase. On the c6 ZR1 Gm made a spliter support for the zr1 front spliter so the car could hit speeds of 200mph with that front spliter on the car. If you need to discuss it more you can reach me at 888-257-8515 ext 2. Thanks, Don

Hi Don. Can the splitter deflectors be ordered as a stand alone in carbon flash? I have a Z51 and not into the look of splitters and rocker extensions, however, I have 1" wider wheels all around and do like the look of the deflectors. Can you post a couple pics of just the deflectors? Are the bottom edges nicely finished? Nicely enough as stand alone without the splitter?
Thanks

Hi,

Here is the link to buy the Wheel Deflectors by themselves: https://www.rpidesigns.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=4989

We took some quick pictures for you of them by themselves as well. Note that these have not been primed, sanded or painted yet, we just put a quick coat of flat black on them so you can get an idea of how they look off of the car. If you have any other questions let us know.

Thanks,
Chris

Thank you Chris. I'm extremely busy this week, but would like to reach out to speak with you. It looks like these extend (as they should) to accommodate the stage2 splitter. Would like to ask you about trimming the bottoms to line up exactly with the bumper line. Anyway, thanks and I'll be in touch soon.

Hi Chris,
Sorry, I’m no Picasso on the iPhone, but wanted to give you an idea of what I’m thinking of. I’ve included a pic of my gen5 Camaro 1LE with the OEM Zl1 front deflectors for reference. Looking for carbon flash c7 deflectors, but since I have no plans of getting a splitter, I want the bottom edge to sit flush with the bottom edge of the bumper (same height). Is this a possibility? Not sure if it can be done, or if you have seen it done, does it even look good? Maybe I’m not that good at visualizing the whole thing. When you get a chance, can you PM me? Thanks
