Thanks for the info. Some smaller stereo and alarm shops will also do it for you if you’re lucky. Best Buy has a good credibility rating IMO though.
If you’re in central FL or want to take a mini vacation I can install it for you in less than a day for even less! Email or call for a price but it will save you enough to go to Disney with your passenger for the day

how does it help with exhaust noise I i stalled a magnaflow comp exhaust and its pretty loud wife is complaining. Would your kit make a diference ? Dont eant to remove my exhaust it sounds awesome but I do have a lot of cabin noise

It helps a lot. I’ll post more tonight when I’m done working but I wanted to let you guys know that with the new tariff on aluminum coming the price of our kits will likely be going up 10% or more depending on how much the tariff on aluminum winds up being if it passes.

The kit above is double the material on extreme. Base kit is $235. Extreme kit is $350. Double extreme kit is $450. The double extreme kit will add almost 50 pounds but gives you absolutely the best sound reduction for the C7 available.
Price raises will will be pending the new tariffs that come down the pipe. Order before then to save the price hike costs!

Most car stereo shops will tackle this for you no problem. Some guys go to dealerships or Best Buy. One of the members above had Best Buy do the install for $400. That is on the higher end of the prices I’ve seen but at least you have a credible company who will back their work and not leave you hanging if something breaks during or after the install (shouldn’t).
Now the price of install may change depending on if it’s the base kit, the extreme kit, or the double extreme kit. Not much (if at all) but it is the difference of about one or two additional hours of installation. Since late 2013 when I started the C7 Insulation kit I’ve only sold less than 5% with the base kit. The extra money and weight is VERY MUCH worth the improvement in noise levels especially when you have the car already apart you might as well get the best improvement for your efforts!
I can do an install by myself on a car in 5 hours with experience. I would say 8 hours for an extreme kit is a fair amount of time to do an install for someone with no experience. If they have a helper for sure 8 hours or less. A shop should be a one day job. The double extreme material kit I just did a few days ago made, by far, the most noise reduction I’ve ever heard in a Corvette — and it was on one of the loudest I’ve ever hear (C7Z with no cats and Corsa Extreme exhaust and 7 speed manual).
Most guys that have them installed over the 15 years I’ve been selling these kits report that a dealership or stereo shop would install it for $150-250 which is reasonable to me!

We got in a ton of material today before the aluminum prices go up (whenever that tariff that passed today trickles down to the economy sale prices).

Drove it a bit today and can really say it seems like the cockpit now is an enclosed cocoon the insulation helped reduce the noise from the Corsa Extreme, X pipe, no cats, and Norcal Cat Delete kit.
Cowboy knows his stuff and is a straight shooter, so any forum members dealing with him get their money's worth and he is a no BS kind of man, so if you want less noise in your cockpit, this is the ticket, since we were in there we did the Extreme kit, and I was lucky enough to get this thicker brand new insulation product, so it really made a difference.
