Burning Brakes
Installed my 1521s last week. No issues but Saturday was first all day driving I did and I noticed that once I had a few stop and goes, I heard a screeching noise under 10mph to 0mph. Not sure if I need to take pads back out and apply more grease to back of the pads. Harder stops didn't make any noise. But lightly braking and coming to a stop, under 10mph the squealing was horrible. I lightly sanded the rotors, used brake cleaner, make sure they were clean. They aren't warped or anything like that. Not sure what would cause that noise.

I just ordered a set for my 2017 Grand Sport. It only has 670 miles on it but the brake dust is intolerable. Last year I purchased a set of the 1521 compound CarboTech brake pads for my C5 that has C6 Z06 rims and brakes that had the same dust problem plus they squeaked. It has been over a year and no squeak, no dust, stops on a dime. Not only is it a great product, but let me tell you about Adam. I had my Corvette dealer mechanic install them for me and they still squeaked. I sent Adam an email to get his thoughts. He called me at home on a weekend and told me he talked to the installer. I took my c5 back to the mechanic and Adam walked him through the proper steps of prepping the rotors and bedding the pads. Problem solved! Now that's what I call customer service!
