Just trying to help you out--if you haven't tried this already...

I've shipped tires in the past and found it cheaper to ship by the pair. Get some wide sticky "plastic wrap"--no glue on it, but the heavier stuff movers use to wrap furniture--and stack and wrap each pair of same size tires together with it. Then treat each pair as one package for shipping weight and costs. It has always worked out for me to be cheaper that way. Same thing with wheels--buy a box that will fit two wheels and ship by the pair. It's cheaper.
