Somethkng weird there! I have a 2017 Z51. On my NPP exhaust the flaps are on one of the outputs on each side. I notice on yours the flaps are on the exhaust can inputs!

no sir, nothing is weird. Your car should also have valves on the pipes before the mufflers. The difference is the valves by the tips are used for sound control whereas the valves on the pipes before the mufflers are used for Active Fuel Management (Eco mode).
