Carbon flash painted Vararam lid
Changed my setup and no longer need this. This is the lid only. This was custom sanded and painted by Pete at show stoppers. Smoothed the lid and painted it carbon flash.
2 things
1. There is a slight chip on the lid, hard to see when installed on the car. I touched it up. I took a close up picture.
2. The bolts dont 100% go in. Not sure why but it stays closed and never had an issue.
$30 shipped. Very nice piece and painted beautifully. Already packaged and ready to ship.
Thanks!

Thinking the same thing here. OP do you have a pic with this on your car. I know the stock piece doesn't have that clip on the one side like your piece does. Robert

Here is an old pic. I can look to see if I have any other close ups.
the screws go about 3/4 way in. The metal clasp is what really holds it together and the pressure from the inlet tube kept it sealed. The pictures I attached, the screws are just sitting in them. They dont stick out that much. I have no mechanical skills so someone with some skills and knowledge could easily get the screws all way in flush. I think the issue is when you turn the screws after a certain point, the end where is screws in, the nut rotates with the screw.
I'm trying to be as helpful as possible as I bought this from a fellow member who didnt tell me this. The system still worked but a heads up would have been nice.
