I've had this x pipe on for several months and it's been great, today I noticed that for some reason the car seems much much louder , no mater what driving mode I put it in it is really loud, I checked the flaps in the exhaust and they seem to be functioning when I change modes, economy used to be somewhat quiet but now I get a drone in all modes. Does anyone have any ideas before I jack it up and pull off the skid plate?

The bolts connecting the pipes to the mufflers have a tendency to loosen themselves if not properly tightened. I had a similar issue a while back. Sounded like I was straight piped lol. Retighten the bolts with lock-tight and that should fix the issue, if that what it turns out to be.

Very interested in this pipe. Wonder whether it’s just louder at acceleration or WOT. Any noticeable different type of sound than stock? Thanks

A clamp/flange either came loose or a weld cracked.

Have to say the xpipe purchase was worth it, they were the perfect upgrade. Noise gains were only in mid to high rev range...it was especially nice when going WOT. Outside of this it seemed stock to me. I didn’t upgrade the exhaust because I loved the stock valves...I am sure my neighbors were happier with me going stealth mode when entering my subdivision.

Also I did not experience any enhanced droning, if you are seeing this after the fact please recheck the bolts and ensure they are properly tightened.

thanks,

Wow, only O N E user responded. What gives?
How has the material held up?
Cracks at the mounting tabs?
Warping at the manifolds?
How many miles or hours can you attest to?
????????????
