Need YELLOW Z51 calipers
I'm looking to replace my black calipers with yellow on my 2015 Z51. Anyone want to sell theirs or trade? I'm in Detroit.

Try eastwood they make paint for calipers. If you can take a tire off you can paint them your self.. Just mask and tape off areas. Use the brush method and those throw away brushes. Paint the calipers right on the car! Good Luck

Thanks, I already tried using the G2 system as I've used them many times before but the paint wouldn't stick to the painted black calipers at all. I don't really feel like stripping the existing paint to get proper adhesion but if I can't find a decent set of factory yellow calipers then I'll give painting another go. But I appreciate the response!

Thanks but that's a bit out of my price range right now. I may just send mine out to get them powder coated for $649 but figure I'd see if anyone was selling a set.

Some people will try to do what it takes to sell you parts but don't care to tell you that you will have to upgrade your wheels as well to make the z06 brakes work on your stingray or z51. I'm sure you don't want to run spacers all the way around Either?

I've already upgraded my wheels and tires to a nice forged set but I still don't need to spend 2k for a brake upgrade when I really just want a different color ha but you're right, people like selling what they can sell. His price was fine but I don't want to spend that right now.

I actually went to one place and he advised me against powder coating for some reason but I didn't understand his logic as it seems powder coat is very effective for calipers. Thank you, I'll look up QC!

I actually just sent them an e-mail since he didn't answer. Maybe he's off today with the cold but I'm not in a rush. I did ask about the internals so I was curious about that. I also ordered the decals already since I knew I'd be changing the color at some point. I appreciate the info, I looked for some places around me but didn't find anything I liked. QC seems like they know their stuff and if the price you mentioned is right then I'm heading there for sure. Shelby TWP isn't too far from me so that's a win. Thanks again!

I wouldn't go to anyone that doesn't know ****. You just have to take internals out of the calipers and get them coated. It very easy. The coating place will plug up all the holes and get them done.. You can also buy decals From Ebay..

i have a set of yellow z51 calipers. Had around 10K miles when I swapped for z06 ones. PM me an offer if still interested. I would just say a price but I am unsure the going rate currently.

The lighter colors on Calipers will discolor from heat if you track your car. I have AW Calipers but don’t track. 3 years and they still look great.
