Default C7 1 7/8" Tri-Y Header and Tune Package Now Available to order!

Early development has paid off for the C7 and all C7 header orders will ship in about 2 weeks. Couple this with the Pfadt Pflash C7 Tune to maximize the horsepower gained.

ORDER LINK

You asked for them and we listened. Pfadt Race Engineering is proud to announce 1 7/8” Tri-Y headers for C7 Corvettes. Our headers produce gains of 43 horsepower and a consistent, “Dip Free” torque curve. The competition’s headers produce less power and create wave crashing which gives you an unreliable torque curve. But before you hear it from someone else, let us be the first to tell you that our headers suck.

It’s true, we will be the first to admit it, our headers suck - and that’s why people love them. Traditional headers have one purpose and that is to get exhaust out of the engine. Our competitors headers do just that. But what separates us from them, is our headers don’t just let the exhaust fumes flow out at a leisurely pace, our headers forcefully suck the exhaust out like a demonic vacuum. This speeds up the combustion process allowing you to draw more air and fuel into the engine while sucking that exhaust out faster, resulting in more horsepower as well as keeping a consistent “Dip-Free” torque curve. Pair this technology with the highest precision welds, T-304 stainless steel and Made in USA pride, and you have the finest Corvette headers on the market.

So just the headers give the C7 a 43 hp gain, or in conjunction with your tune?
Consider me confused. I know you offer both but the ad doesn't quite make it clear (to me) where the gains come from.

Yea... care to elaborate on your tune? Dyno sheets would be ummm how do I say this... HUGE?

Thanks!

Also is 43 hp... is that WHP? and is that with headers + tune?

That's the same dyno sheet background as their C5 headers, so I'm sure they'll chime in...

Hmmm...I wasn't sure if the Cy PCM was tunable yet. Looks like I need to update my HPTuners version to add C7 support.

You will pick up probably 30-40whp on just a tune on a bone stock car. So I would say the headers may be good for 10-20whp, nonetheless, I am interested in any US made headers, and I am interested in seeing before and after dyno tests. I know I dyno a lot, and I am new to the vette game so I only know the famous names, waiting till the dust settles on some of the vendors. With that in mind, Im looking for sponsors for cheaper rates and me being a rolling ad :P

The dyno charts I'd want to see overlayed would be:

-stock
-custom tune
-custom tune and catted headers

Headers cost a fair bit, are hard to install, are loud, so they need to have more than a 6 hp (for example) improvement for me to justify their purchase. I'd say that I'd want at least 17-18 hp to justify headers.

Then I'd like to know the actual weight savings.

When I get a C7 I imagine my only mods will just be a CAI, tune, cam, head porting, maybe throttle body mods, slight chance of catted exhaust system. I'm all about NA, bang for the buck, and keeping the car at a reasonable noise level. And I'm eager to see packages offering something like this.
