Default Gauge to replace cigarette lighter(New Version)

4 hrs later my first attempt to replace the useless port was done. I think it went pretty well, of coarse this is not a finish piece. Doing another one that sits lower but the angle to driver will not be the same. It will be like same orientation as outlet.. Kept it all so can be put back to stock.

Yes sir, just got a printer that was the first thing to go through it. Makes the time fly by.

Default Version 2

Here is version 2. Sits quite a bit lower which is what I was trying to do but, I don't think I like the straight orientation on gauge face. On to version 3, goal is to go lower and more angle on the gauge face towards driver.
Goal is to make it not look like some ugly ad on. What ever the final version is will be texture and color matched to interior.

Looks good

Might want to use the A/C fan control above as a reference for the correct angle to maintain a factory look.

Great job, I actually thought version one looked really good. I’m sure your revisions will perfect it.

Are you planning on selling these? Making the plan available on Thingiverse?

I wish they made a gauge small enough that would allow you to gut the cigarette lighter, but retain the ability to still close the plastic lid to hide everything.

Same idea as me. Mine however was done in a CNc mill out of a solid block of Delrin material. Yours looks great. Very happy with my setup. Enjoy!!

Default Version...not even sure

After multiple designs I finally got what I feel is the best version(s). Got the gauge to sit lower, got gauge to same angle(s) as climate *****. Then thought, maybe I could squeeze a second gauge in the ever so tight area so it didn't have to be in the radio cubby. Silver is the final design on the single, before going to double set up. Neither is prepped or painted yet to match the factory satin color of console.

Nice job. I love having the ability to 3D print parts I design. Is the STL on thingiverse and if not do you plan to share it?

I designed a cup holder extension for mine. I am also working on a telescoping one but to be honest none of my prototypes come close to working as well as my first design at holding a thing secure.

I would like the files if possible and have access to a 3d printer at work. These designs look great!
