Default REDLINE MOTORSPORTS RACE SERIES for GM LS Platform rides coming to PBIR in SE.Florida

“Redline-Motorsports - Drag Race Series”

Find yourself Missing a series of days gone by?

Enjoy Fun and Good Times for all you motor heads, enthusiasts or hobbyist’s,
whether you chose to participate, or spectate and smell the HP fueled adrenaline rushed air!

Along with meeting up with or making new friends with like vehicles,
to calling out your buddy to line up against and racing them.
You’re sure to enjoy both the camaraderie, brushing off the rust,
learning a new thing or two, and of course the competition should you desire!

Beginning early October when heat and humidity are usually expected to calm down here in the Southeast,
it will be time to “get it on” with your GM LSx Platform brethren. Open to all LS platform rides!

{ ie: FOOTBRAKE ONLY FULL BODY CARS, NO TRANS.BRAKES, OR DELAY BOXES, and NO ELECTRONICS ALLOWED!

OPEN TO: ‘97+Corvette, ‘98+ F-Body & GM Truck, ‘04+ GTO, G8, Hummer, GEN5 V8 Camaros, and t/b/d LS platforms?
6.0, & ‘04+ Caddy CTS-V,

We're even thinking on an LSx "with Electronics" class, so those folks can mix it up with each other too!

Now, after you “Tech in” at the Drag Strip end of the track by the return road,
you’ll line up in the two designated staging lanes offered by a recognizable Redline coordinator.

Two time shots down the track, and later you may participate in a bracket race
where you’ll “dial in” your time on your vehicle, and the coordinators will then pair you off.

When called to the line from the staging lanes, you will do your best to “cut a light”,
and whether being chased by a faster car, or playing catch up to a slower car,
one of you will win and move on to the next round until there is one winner, You!

If you just want to make time shots to get your best reaction time (R/T), 60 ft, 1/8th Mile,
¼ mile and MPH time slips,
just line up behind racers competing in our group,
and you’ll get another time shot after the race groups run off,
as the field whittles down to the last two racers.

Trophy for the winner and runner up, Bragging rights, and Refund of admission to the Winner!

This Redline-Motorsports Race Series will be geared for the Street registered and driven to the PBIR track,
LS platform car or truck to run every 5-6 weeks or so beginning in October,
but not in the Heat of the Summertime.

So Stay tuned and we will keep you updated as the info regarding dates and times, $35 entry fee, Etc. unfold!

...then, get involved and weigh in here especially if you're a local participant!

Awesome news and a great idea, but I would love to see a class for LS swap vehicles.
There are too many of them to ignore, and who doesn't love an LS swapped Fox body or classic??

It would definitely help with car counts.

Well done.

yeah... I don't want to run against a 2400# gutted fox body but an actual "street car" ls swap class would be cool. My Benz would fit right in

Its bracket racing, not heads up, doesn't mater what you are lined up against

I hate bracket racing so I would most likely just go make time runs for fun.

Either way, from years of past experience,
the camaraderie and hangin' out with like minded car hobbyists, former street racers, many current and former structured racers, and GM Car people is well worth the time spent. I've seen many a novice work through a field and come out the overall winner.

Just ask once novice racer, now force to be reckoned with at PBIR and the Summit Series, etc. Georgia Dobbs, ("Racing Diva" in two C5's) and "Marybeth B." in her C5/M6 at the time!......
