Awesome....from the looks of it they can be unplugged from the connector in the back on each side. and they entire rail/injectors/harness can come out together??
Seems like transferring from one head to another will be easy.

does anyone know if the the fuel lines going to the fuel rails need to be discarded? If so, anyone have part numbers?

called a gm wholesaler, he couldn't find it, but the low pressure feed hose ended with an 8, so googled number ending with a 6 and voila !!
gm 12618336 hardline that connects both fuel rails to the 12618337 line to pump.
It is unreal how many discarded parts and SPECIAL ($$$) tools are needed, even to change 1 DI injector

The latest part numbers are 12677002 and 12677004 for the disposable fuel lines that GM calls "fuel feed intermediate pipe position 1" and "fuel feed intermediate pipe position 2." Also the part number for the "fuel feed pipe" is 12677005.
