Yes it’s hard to believe that someone has not yet produced a full kit like this for sale. They would sell a lot. I know I would be on the page for one.

Actuator pin order?

Hi Fyreant and Red 1,
i got the controller from smola and he has been very helpful, but I wanted to get all the information on this thread for future retrofitters

can you provide a possible pin diagram for the actuator connection?

i read that pin 4 is the power, and 1&2 are the ground,
i’ve attached a modified image with the pin order (assumption) and wanted to confirm with you guys.

Thank you,
joel

to be honest its been so long since I installed mine I don’t remember. My wiring isn’t accessible at the moment for me to try and trace it out unfortunately. Red 1, are you able to assist?

Thanks for the reply. Waiting for my car to comeback from diff replacement before I tackle this. Another 2016 with the issue. Good thing it’s under warranty 😝

The npp is much quiter than the muffler delete. I started missing the sound as soon as I drove it. Damn California law 😡

92_383LT4,

What is the California law regarding modifications on original factory exhaust systems, or aftermarket muffler replacements?

Thank you very much. I would have fried the actuator with my assumption.

One more question, do I supply the PWM signal to pin #2 or #4?

if I use pin #2, do I need to provide a constant 12v to #4 or leave it open for the retrofit?

thanks again to all your feedback 😎

I bought a "new cut off" exhaust system from ebay that looks like it was cut off when the car was brand new. Unfortunately I did not know how this system worked and I thought it was just standard motor type system so I tried every combination of 12v + and - that I could to get them to actuate. I bet that I've destroyed them now. They are on my H3 Hummer LS-3 conversion. Right now I'm just holding the flapper valves in position with some chicken wire since I can't figure out the circuit.
