Default Does ECO mode really work on Z06 A8?

New 2015 Z06 and ECO mod does not cause car to go into V4 mod as Stingray does. Is this normal or is something wrong? Car gets 22 to 27 mpg @75 in Sport mode.

It does go into V4 mode just a tad more particular then the Stingray. Try putting it in ECO and set the cruise to 75mph and you will see it come on.

As the Z06 no longer has the AFM valves, it has a much more aggressive table on when to go from V8 to V4. Certain conditions must be met that the AFM valves generally 'cover up' (from both a sonic and backpressure standpoint) on the standard C7.

Then it sounds like I probably won't need to order a Range module for my soon to be ordered Z06. I would call this good news and thanks for the explanation Theta!
