Recommendation on a drag radial /wheel setup
I need to get a set of wheels for the track. I am currently in the 850 - 900hp range and I am in the process of swapping out to the larger2200 blower along with a fuel system upgrade. I also have a set of new axles on order to handle the power, we will see how well the diff holds up.
I am currently running toyo 888s in a 20" 315 for street, what would be some 18" recommendations for a drag setup?
Thanks

Burning Brakes
LG spindles and a set of weld 15 inch with bead locks. Then a set of D/R Hoosiers D/R, The M&H D/R are good also, are even go to the MT 275 for the rear for the track.. With that much rwhp & rwtq just pissing money away if you really want to hook the car up. Robert

I still cut 1.60 60s on 265/40/18 MT et streets @ around 800whp in a 7 speed manual. Could/will go even quicker when i get my clutch installed next week. You do not need as much tire as you think, as long as it is the right compound.

Plus like the guy has said above correct set up with correct tire will hook better. Just finding it is a costly thing is all.
I just know for the track a 15 inch rim with a dr 275 will hook a c5 up better than any tire I have seen.
