Default C7 LT1 NA Mods List and Rwhp Results

That's STD correction factor. SAE is more standard and will have a much lower number.

This result shows there is not much gain if any going from a filter and a tune to a CAI, headers, and a tune on a stock motor.

Im leaning towards the LMR 630hp package. Katech and Lingenfelter have similar packages but LMR is reasonably close. LMR's 630hp NA car has a nice angry sound to it.
I'm guessing the package makes 550 rwhp or so. Probably enough for the wife's car, lol.

Looks like about a 550-575rwhp package. Do you know who you're going to have tune it?

I just want to say thanks for all the info. I'm researching NA mods for my '15 A8 C7 and this is pretty helpful. I was thinking i was going to just do the intake, x-pipe, and a custom tune and stop there. Reading all of this is getting me informed on what i'd be missing if i did that, which may change my mind do more.

I don't have a good tuner in my area here in corpus christi, tx. I'll probably have to travel to Houston 3 1/2 hours away for a good tuner. Normally I'm just turning the wrenches myself with simple mods and slapping on a canned tune as I've done on other vettes. Maybe this thread my persuade me to have a little more fun!

Car is going to be taken apart for DOD delete and Cam install so we did not tune for the mods done below. Just wanted some kind of baseline.

Stock tune with check engine lights from the missing cats.
AFE Cold air intake
Kooks 1-7/8th headers & Kooks Off-road X pipe

431rwhp / 449rwtq

2017 GS A8 - Pulls in 6th gear.. similar weather conditions between the 2 different dyno days

Mods for the 489/499 pull

Pray Performance ported OEM IM/TB,
Pray Performance Flex fuel tune w/E85,
Halltech CAI,
ARH 2" headers w/ 3" catted xpipe

Mods for 508/514 pull:

All of above plus Pray Performance ported OEM heads

Also did the 508 pull on shorter drag radials vs the street tires because I was on the way to a track rental afterwards, so they may have cost a few hp

Great job, looks like a perfect set up!

Thanks! It drives and runs like stock. Zero driveability issues. Have not had it on a road course yet but hope to make it to VIR sometime this year. Have had fun o. Mountain roads though and biggest issue is trsc control working its but off when the throttle goes wot
