Autocross Tires for Z51
Looking for 19/20 inch autocross tires for a customer's 2015 Z51? Any options out there or is 18 inch the only choice? How about 18/19 inch?

Wow,
it depends on a few things.....
Is this for only Autocross, or HPDE, or Drag racing?
Each of the above categories could have different answers.
For autocross, do they care what class they will be in (SCCA) ?
Will this be a daily driver on these tires?
Is (or will) the car be Lowered ?
I have Toyo R888 tires on my Z51...
295/30/19 front, 315/30/20 rear
on 19/10 (56 mm offset) front wheels, 20/11 (79 mm offset) rear wheels.
I have LG Motorsports G7 Sway bars installed.
I had lowered the car on stock bolts.
Now on the highway I do encounter a minimal rub on the fender lip.
I am raising it back up tomorrow.
So, we need a few answers before we can give good info.

Bridgestone RE71-R is a good tire (200 Treadwear), but only available in 18,19
BF Goodrich Rival is a good tire (200 Treadwear), available in 18,19,20
Michelin Pilot Sport Cup is a good tire (80 TW), available in 18,19
Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 is a good tire (180 TW), available in 18,19, 20, etc
Toyo R888 is a good tire (100 TW), available in 18,19,20
Of course, if you want the BEST
Hoosier A6 (60 TW), available in 18,19
It all depends on how fast you want to be,
do you care about tire wear,
can you accept 18,19 wheels/tires, or 19,20, or maybe 18,18 or 19,19
Realize that for "square" setup you probably will have to make sure there is enough
differential in diameter front/rear to satisfy the computer.
There's lots of info out there... I have only touched on the common ones.
Check out the Road Racing and autocross forum here;
there are many people who chime in on their experiences and thoughts and
likes/dislikes.
Good Luck
