Yes I am running it in SSP. I did not have any issues running Hoosiers this weekend. Put it in Sport mode and turned the traction control off and stability control off as well and car worked well. Was hoping to scuff the Hoosiers in but barely got the mold off the tires. Ran on sealed asphalt and it was a little slick and not easy breaking them in. Sorry I do not have any videos to share because I forgot my card this weekend and did not use it in the past events. Really hoping BFG or any good 200 treadwear tire would stop playing games and come out with a 19 inch or 20 inch tire that fits the Z06 otherwise I do not think I'll be running it in SS anymore. I'm sure I am not the only one wanting that though.

Glad the car performed well with the Hoosiers. It gives me confidence to know you didn't have issues. I'll be running on 8/22 & 8/23, on a very course concrete surface (Crows Landing - a WWII backup airstrip for use in case the coastal airstrips were bombed out). It's never really been used; hence the coarse surface. Don't think I need to mentioned that in addition to providing great grip, it eats the tires up fairly rapidly. I'm with you re tires in 200 treadwear. Even with my stock 300 treadwear, I was assigned to run SSP, so don't know if you'll get back to SS unless you disconnect a couple of plug wires. Will let you know when I post my PDR's and where to find them. Jeff

Tell me abt it... Running puny 245/275 RE-71R combo on my Z51 car. I've heard rumors of wider 19s on the way, as they just released a (whoopie) 285-19--so hopefully 325+ in 19s for the Z06s.
I haven't used my trailer in a few years (been running ST or Street classes) & I don't want to have to break it out again.
When you put it in Sport mode you can hold the button down for 5 seconds or so and both lights will come off. If they don't then resort to pushing the button down twice. Yes I did run into the problem of the car having the same problems you did. I learned at Spring Nationals in Lincoln, it was the second race I took it to. It was not fun at all. The first autocross I took it to the car handled great. It was a local event and I messed around with some of the traction controls and absolutely loved the car. Then when I took it to Spring Nats for the second race I had all kinds of problems. Then when we switched to Sport mode it made night and day difference. Don't forget to use that PDR in your car. It will be very useful!
Front wheels are 18x11 on 315/30R18 A7
Rear wheels are 18x12 on 345/35R18 A7
Thanks! I'll let you know how it goes.

Hi Chad, I ran Sport Mode with TC and TS off, last weekend, and experienced exactly what you indicated. No more power issues. Yes, the car was a little bit more of a bear, with the rear end wanting to lead. That's a challenge I'll gladly work on. It's just great having all of the power available when I want it. Thanks very much, Jeff
