Any one running a 3.8 pulley w/methonol? What kind of power at the wheels?

my argument is a s-trim doesn't support that power especially on pump gas.

Out of curiosity... Why do you think they'd tell me my car dynoed 694whp if the blower won't support that kinda power? I have no argument except what they told me when I picked up my car.

because it's a 6.2, i've seen an s-trim make close to 700 rwhp on a 5.7 with e85 and spun like crazy.

Stock bottem end, stock headed ls3 car with cam/bolt ons on 93/torco spinning the blower right at max impeller speed (im sure you can over rev them too, like any other blower), made a tick over 700rwhp

I'm not into dyno numbers especially on boost cars, but I have seen it out of the combo, may have been 650 on another dyno, who knows.

I have also seen high 9 second passes out of Si trims around 138mph in a 3500lb car, so that shows its making some steam

Wow, that must be a sleeper cam, which I LOVE. I could not hear a lope at all. Sounds like stock.

It actually has a nice lope at idle. Hard to hear on that video, but it sounds killer!!

I am looking to install headers and ALKY control meth kit to get closer to 700 rwhp and to avoid using Torco in the fuel. I have spoken to Joe@cpr about having him install the meth kit and tune, was also considering stepping down to the 3.47" pulley.

Do you guys think a pulley swap and headers/meth can get me close to 700 with 91 octane in Las Vegas or should I be looking at upgrading to a TI head unit?

Thanks
Figured I would update this with your dyno graph from today sir. So as you can see above is the graph they gave him, well we threw his car on the dyno as he normally drives it and here is what it made on a dynojet. Also in the tune a few questionable things were there like knock sensors almost off, minimum timing set at 10, injection window all wonky, etc. So After we do the mods he stated we typically see 630-640 w/ timing in the 8-9 degree range on 91 w/ meth and that's knock sensors turned on so they actually work!

Thanks for the update Joe. I can't wait to see the results after we get the TI head unit, methanol, and headers installed with a new tune. I am considering stepping down to the 3.47" pulley to push the boost a little more with our crappy desert air.

Note: Joe told me that during the 485 dyno pull, it was making 8psi peak boost with the 3.8" pulley (no headers, stock cam)

In all fairness that car was one of the first ones we did. It was back in early 2014 when pretty much nobody knew how to tune them (including me). Sam wanted 600 RWHP come hell or high water.
With a bunch of Torco it did make it, but it did not leave my shop that high.
He had an issue with it dropping timing all the way down to zero or even below at the track sometimes. That is why the minimum timing was set like that. It was just an experiment. He had somebody in Vegas actually do it.
Things have come a long way since then. I am certainly not the Premier LT Tuner in the country but I, as well as most other tuners, have learned a lot about these things since then.

Fair enough sir, very much respect the honest answer.
